You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. If you are a parent or legal guardian, you may create accounts for your children. You represent and warrant that you have the legal authority to agree to these Terms.
3. License & Access
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Miss Humblebee's Academy grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Services for personal or educational use.
4. Fees & Payments
Certain features of the Services may require payment of fees. All fees are in U.S. Dollars and are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law. Subscriptions will automatically renew unless canceled.

Our Commitment to Children's Privacy
Miss Humblebee's Academy is committed to protecting the privacy of children who use our services. This notice explains our information collection, disclosure, and parental consent practices with respect to information provided by children under the age of 13, in accordance with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
Information We Collect from Children
We collect only the minimum amount of information necessary for a child to participate in our educational activities. We do not require children to provide contact information to use our platform. Accounts are created and managed by parents or schools.
Parental Rights
Under COPPA, parents have the right to review their child's personal information, direct us to delete it, and refuse further collection or use. Contact us at support@misshumblebee.com to exercise these rights. We do not disclose children's personal information to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. We do not use behavioral advertising targeting children.

FERPA Overview
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) is a Federal law that protects the privacy of student education records. Miss Humblebee's Academy acts as a "School Official" with "legitimate educational interests" when we provide services to schools and districts.
Data Protection
Direct Control: We remain under the direct control of the school/district with regard to the use and maintenance of education records Purpose Limitation: We use student data only for educational purposes. We do not use student data for targeted advertising No Redisclosure: We do not disclose personally identifiable information from education records to third parties without written consent
School & Parent Rights
Schools can access, review, and correct student records at any time. Upon request or termination of service, we will securely destroy or return all personally identifiable student data.

Infrastructure Security
Our services are hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS), a premier cloud service provider with industry-leading physical and environmental security controls. We utilize Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs) to isolate our production environment.
Encryption Standards
In Transit: All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using TLS 1.2 or higher At Rest: Data stored in our databases is encrypted using AES-256 encryption standards
Access Controls
Access to production data is restricted to authorized engineering staff. All access is logged and monitored. Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is required for all internal systems.
Monitoring & Incident Response
We perform regular automated vulnerability scans and periodic penetration testing. In the event of a security incident, we notify affected customers promptly in accordance with applicable laws.

Institutional Terms

Data Privacy Agreements (DPA)
We are a signatory to the Student Data Privacy Consortium (SDPC) and maintain active Data Privacy Agreements with districts across multiple states. Institutions requiring a specific DPA may request one through our legal department.
Data Processing & Retention
We collect only the minimal amount of data necessary to provide personalized learning experiences. Student data is retained only for the duration of the active contract term plus a grace period of 60 days, after which it is securely deleted or de-identified.
Vendor Onboarding
We support standardized vendor onboarding processes. Our vendor packet includes W-9, Certificate of Insurance, Accessibility Compliance Report (VPAT), and HECVAT Lite. Contact us at support@misshumblebee.com to initiate onboarding.
