The White Giraffes

Safiyah feels sad when other giraffes say she does not belong because she looks different. With the help of her mother Nina, she discovers that being unique is what makes her special. Together they notice how tall trees, colorful sunsets, and even a bend in a spillway stand out in beautiful ways. Children will learn that white giraffes, though rare, are real and live in Kenya.
