Languages

The lessons and other areas in the classroom are not available in Spanish or any other language. In the U.S., it is legislatively mandated that children learn in English. Miss Humblebee's Academy adheres to several different standards. One is The Head Start Child Outcomes Framework. In this set of standards, one will find reference to the mandate. For example, in the Language Development Domain:

  • For non-English-speaking children, progresses in listening to and understanding English.
  • For non-English-speaking children, progresses in speaking English.

All areas outside of the classroom, including assessment and lesson reports, and website content can be changed to Spanish, or many other languages using Google Translate, so that if a parent's primary language is not English, then he/she can understand the product and details about the facets of the product.
